Technically speaking, I’m an artist.

Day 1: The Pitch

For the purposes of this class, I intend to complete an outdoor environment with my partner, Ajani Bognay, for submission to GameArtisans.org and Polycount.net’s Unearthly Challenge competition.

Limitations:

-  Deadline for submissions is:
11:59pm ET on October 27th, 2008
-  250,000 triangles maximum
-  4096×4096 total texture space for each
material pass

Goal:

The goal of this project is to have a fully-polished
Maya environment that follows GameArtisan.org’s
theme of “Good” and submit it before the deadline.

By the end of this class, I intend to import all assets
from this environment into Unreal Engine 3,
complete with light maps.

Benefits to my portfolio:
